Robert and Danie Nichols of Plantersville are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Ashley Nicole Arrington to Andrew Blake Maddox, son of Reed and Loretta Maddox of Clanton.

The bride is the granddaughter of Pete Sheffield and the late Shelby Sheffield of Plantersville, Willard and Lelo Nichols of Marion and Dr. and Mrs. Chester Singleton of Greensboro.

She is a 2005 graduate of Chilton County High School and is currently attending the University of Montevallo pursuing a degree in Elementary and Collaboration Teaching. She will graduate December 2008.

The bride-groom is the grandson of Sadie Maddox and the late Bud Maddox of Clanton and Dorenda Minor and the late Ross Minor.

He is also a 2005 graduate of Chilton County High School.

He is a 2007 graduate of Trenholm Technical College where he received his Associates degree in HVAC.

He is currently employed at Giles Cooling and Heating in Clanton.

The wedding will be held on Aug. 9 at 6 p.m. at Bell Lane Baptist Church.

The reception is immediately following the ceremony at the Pumpkin Patch.
