Jeffrey Price, M.D. has qualified for Clanton City Council Ward 1.

Price is a native of Chilton County. Price’s father is State Farm agent Bill Price and his mother, Joyce Law, is director of nursing at Hatley Health Care.

He is married to the former Misti Penton of Clanton, daughter of Jerry and Micki Penton, and the couple has four children, Griffin, Boyd, Tucker and Ella.

Price graduated from Thorsby High School in 1987, from the University of Montevallo in 1991 and a graduate of medical school at the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1996. He completed his residency in family medicine at Medical Center East in Birmingham in 1999.

Price opened Chilton Family Medicine P.C. in Clanton.

“I am fortunate to have a job where I can interact face to face with so many people, both young and old,” Price said. “I get a true picture of what their life is like in

Chilton County and the City of Clanton. I know

what their needs are and I intend on dedicating the time to represent them in the manner that they should be represented.”

Price attends First Baptist Church in Clanton, and is active with the youth in the community.

“The youth in our community are so very important to me,” Price said. “I want them to have the best resources available and to grow up as responsible, law abiding citizens.”

Price said he has a vested interest in the direction the community takes with four children of his own growing up in Clanton.

“In summary, I am an active small business owner with relationships with the youth and retired generations of the City of Clanton,” Price said. “I am honest and a hard worker. I feel that if the people in your district elect you to represent them, then you represent them when and where they need represented and I intend on fulfilling that pledge. I will do the work and dedicate the time to represent District 1 in the finest manner possible. I would appreciate your vote on August 26th.”
