John Luther Moore, 73, of Maplesville died Friday, July 18, 2008 at his residence.
He was born on Wednesday, March 20, 1935 in Chilton County, son of the late Denny Ezra Moore and Eunice Marie Garner Moore.
He was a truck driver.
Surviving are his wife, Pattie Carol Moore of Maplesville; two sons, Mike Moore of Maplesville and David (Lisa) Moore of Chelsea; daughter, Debi (Keith) Minor of Maplesville; mother, Eunice Moore of Maplesville; brother, Denny Moore of Maplesville; three sisters, Barbara Ray of Jemison, Jean Murphy of Birmingham, and Pattie Davis of Roswell, Ga.; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ezra Moore; sister, Betty Ruth Moore; and brother, Victor Ivan (Buddy) Moore.
Friends were received from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday at Martin Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Macedonia Baptist Church with Bro. David Bishop, Bro. Mitch Thrower and Bro. Darryl Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Maplesville.
