Davis – Easterling

Mr. and Mrs. Tim Davis of Jacksonville, Fla. are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Kelly Michelle, to Kevin Eugene Easterling, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Ray Easterling of Jacksonville, Fla.
The bride is the granddaughter of Marianne Hobbs and the late Carl Hobbs and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Davis all of Jacksonville, Fla.
The groom is the grandson of Mary Dennis and the late Vernon Eugene Dennis and the late Essie and Leonard Easterling, all of Clanton.
The ceremony took place at 2 p.m. on June 28 at Fruit Cove Baptist Church in Jacksonville with Tim Maynard officiating.
The wedding bands that the couple used for the wedding were purchased in 1950 by
Easterling’s grandparents, Vernon and Mary Dennis, when they began their life together 58 years ago.
The bride is a graduate of Mandarin High School and cum laude from the University of North Florida. She is currently employed with Switzerland Point Middle School as a seventh grade teacher.
The groom attended Chilton County High School, but graduated from Nease High School in St. Augustine, Fla. and is a 2001 and 2008 graduate from the University of Florida. He is currently employed with CSX Railroad in Jacksonville as an analyst.
