HUNTSVILLE (AP) – Two males are in custody and a third suspect is being sought in connection with a string of church burglaries in the Huntsville area.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement Thursday that deputies arrested 21-year-old Stephen Ray Bearden and 19-year-old Joshua Lee Barclay. An arrest warrant was issued for 20-year-old Chedrick James Robinson.
All are charged with four counts of burglary each.
Authorities said nearly all the stolen items, mostly musical equipment and computers, were recovered and will be returned to the four churches.
The burglaries occurred during the week of July 14.
