COOPER – Two people were injured in a single vehicle crash on County Road 97 Monday night.

According to state troopers, Tina Boshell, 31, of Eclectic was driving a 2002 Chevrolet when she crashed around 8:45 p.m.

Radio reports indicated that the driver and passenger Lisa Connell, 25, were ejected from the vehicle.

Verbena and East Chilton fire departments responded to the scene.

Both victims were airlifted to the hospital.

The conditions of the victims were not available as of yesterday.

The road was closed for at least an hour as emergency workers cleared up the scene.

State troopers are investigating the crash.
