Milton H. “Punk” Cleckler, 86, of Clanton died Sunday, July 13 at his residence.
He was born on Monday, Sept. 19, 1921 in Chilton County, son of the late Robert Cleckler and the late Lonie Connell Cleckler.
He was a construction worker.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Evelyn Mims Cleckler of Clanton; two daughters, Janice (Ray) Thompson of Clanton, Brenda (Jack) Hucks of Clanton; three grandsons, Bill Thompson, Ross Thompson, Russell Hucks; granddaughter, Regina Stroud and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 5-8, Tuesday, July 15.
Services will be held Wednesday, July 16 at 11 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home with the Rev. Oneal Cleckler officiating.
Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens in Clanton.
