Steve and Jackie Penley of Clanton are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Melissa Michell Penley to Trevor Curtis Ellison, son of Aubuary and Anita Ellison of Clanton.

Penley is the granddaughter of Jack and Carolyn Millard of Clanton and the late Jerry Penley and Dorthy Penley of North Carolina. She is a graduate of Chilton County High School and is currently attending the University of Montevallo pursing a degree in dietetics.

Ellison is the grandson of the late Joe Ellison and Jettie Mae Ellison and the late William Bates and Lanetta Bates. He is a graduate of Jemison High School and is currently employed by Advantage Electric.

The wedding will be held on Aug. 9 at 7 p.m. at her parent’s residence to enjoy an outdoor wedding. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
