Minda Leana Norton, 92, of Clanton died Thursday, July 10.
She was born Friday, Nov. 12, 1915, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Ronnie V. Gleen and the late Mollie Murphy. She was a retired inspector for Dan River Mills.
Survivors include her son, Steve J. (Sandy) Norton of Alexandria; two grandsons, Auston Kyle Norton of Birmingham, Bradley Keith Norton of Birmingham; brother, James Gleen of Montgomery; sister, Mozell Rowell of Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Norton. Services will be held today at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony D. Smitherman officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens. Martin Funeral Home directing.
