On a beautiful May Saturday on the Huntingdon College campus, 128 students in the College’s traditional day program completed their Bachelor of Arts degrees and graduated as members of the Class of 2008. As is the Huntingdon tradition, the ceremony was held on the College Green.

During the ceremony, Justin Wayne Nelson of Clanton and Zachery Richard Littleton of Thorsby both received bachelor’s degrees in communications studies.

The featured speaker was Dr. A. Hope Williams, president of the North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (NCICU). A graduate of Salem College, Duke University, North Carolina State University, and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, she holds an honorary Doctor of Law from Campbell University (N.C.)
