James Robert “Bobby” Mims
James Robert “Bobby” Mims, 59, of Clanton died Saturday, June 28, at 4751 County Road 85, Clanton.
He was born on Monday, Sept. 20, 1948, in Chilton County, son of the late J. Howard Mims and the late Verlon Easterling. He was in part sales.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Mims of Clanton; sons, Nathan (Jada) Mims of Clanton, Kevin (Amber) Mims of Clanton; granddaughter, Hannah Wallace of Columbiana; brother, Randall Mims of Thomaston; sister, Sherry Easterling of Clanton.
Friends were received from 5-8 p.m., Monday, June 30 at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held today at 10 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J.T. Meank, the Rev. Randall Mims, the Rev. Andy Mims and the Rev. Jerry Cleckler officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery.
