James Williams “J.W.” Littlejohn, 85, of Clanton died Sunday, June 29, at Hatley Health Care.
He was born Tuesday, June 13, 1923 in Chilton County, son of the late Robert Wiley Littlejohn and the late Martha Abby Gail Lowrey. He was a corrections officer.
Survivors include his sons, William Littlejohn of Prattville, James A. Littlejohn of Thorsby; daughters, Alice Lawhorn of Thorsby, Teresa Marshall of Opelika; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and sister, Lucy Patterson of Clanton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Littlejohn.
Friends will be received today at Martin Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday, July 2 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Roland Davis and the Rev. Ken Dodson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Baptist Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Liberty Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
