James O. “J.O.” Littleton, age 88, of Calera went to be with Jesus Thursday, April 28, 2016.

He was predeceased by his wife, Frances Littleton, and siblings, Onzelle Avery (Robert), Owen Littleton (MaryAnn), Ocie

Littleton (Odis), Orell Hilyer, Obie Littleton and Oneil Littleton (Jane).

J.O.’s survivors include his daughter, Tina Snipes; son, Jerry H. Littleton (Debbie); siblings, Olean Bratton (Richard), Olysneil Horton, Orville Littleton (Leah) and Ormajean Mims; daughter-in-law, Joy Littleton and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces,

nephews and other family members.

The visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, May 2 at Charter Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be noon Tuesday, May 3 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Shelby Memory Gardens. Charter Funeral Home directing.
