Betty Baker Blalock, 87, of Clanton, died Aug. 22 at Hatley Health Care in Clanton.

She was born on Jan. 16, 1928, in Alabama, the daughter of the late Jesse Baker and the late Alice Wyatt Baker.

She was an Avon representative.

Surviving are her daughter, Joan B. McGriff (Russell); granddaughter, Monica M. Ousley (Barry); great-grandsons, Forrest Ousley, Jordan Ousley; sisters, JoAnn Wilson, Jane Mims; brother, John Baker (Eula Mae).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hermon Blalock.

Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m. Aug. 24 at Walnut Creek United Methodist Church.

Services will be held Aug. 24 at 2 p.m. at Walnut Creek United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tony Hughes and the Rev. Lennie Howard officiating.

Interment will follow in Temple Assembly of God Cemetery in Clanton.
