•Criminal mischief (homeowner found the lock on his shed door had been tampered with): 8800 block of Alabama Highway 22

•Private property accident: Parking lot of Valley View Grocery (vehicle damage only)

 

July 2

•DUI; possession of marijuana: Alabama Highway 22 and Searcy Battle Dr. (arrest)

 

July 4

•Minor in possession of alcohol: Main St. (three juveniles arrested after a traffic stop)

 

July 5

•DUI (arrest made during a traffic stop): Alabama Highway 22 at Dollar General

 

July 7

•Theft by an employee: The Store (arrest)

 

July 8

•Theft by an employee: The Store (arrest)

•DUI and unlawful possession of prescription medication: U.S. Highway 82 at Triple G

•Theft by an employee: The Store (arrest)

•Violation of parole and outstanding warrants: Alabama Highway 22 at Seals Grocery (arrest made after a traffic stop)

 

Aug. 7

•Marijuana was found on the school property after football practice: Weight Room (student was identified)

•Theft (a bank bag with U.S. currency was taken after a brick was thrown through the passenger window of a Penske delivery truck): Birch St., Maplesville
