Authorities in Jemison arrested two individuals on Thursday for drug-related charges.

Dale Thomas and Savannah L. Cleckler, both of Jemison, were taken into custody after officers with the Jemison Police Department received information there were marijuana plants on their property at County Road 231 in Jemison.

Jemison Chief Deputy Marc McMinn said once officers arrived on scene, they recovered 13 marijuana plants, and took Thomas and Cleckler into custody.

No additional information was available on Friday.
