Osburn Michael “Mike” Mims, 51,  of Clanton, died Jan. 28 at his residence.

He was born on Oct. 15, 1963 in Chilton County, son of Osbon L. “Oz” Mims and Janice Gore Mims.

He was a welder.

Surviving are daughter, Courtney Nicole Pinkard, South Dakota; father, Osbon   L. “Oz” Mims  and mother, Janice Gore Mims, both of Clanton.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Theodore W. and Ella Mae Mims and Herman and Merlene Gore.

Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. Jan. 30 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Jan. 31 at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Larry Reeser officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
