Sammy Hubbard, 61, of Jemison, passed away on Nov. 13, at his residence surrounded by his loving family and friends.

He was born in Chilton County on June 2, 1953, the son of the late Harvey M. Hubbard Sr. and the late Lucille Scott Hubbard.

He was a former truck driver. He also served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Hubbard of Jemison; daughter, Shawna (Bobby) Taylor of Clanton; son, Nicholas (Tracie) Hubbard of Jemison; daughter, Stephanie Hubbard of Jemison; six grandchildren; sister, Carolyn (Grady) Adams of Jemison and brother, Harvey (Angela) Hubbard, Jr.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Sr. and Lucille Scott Hubbard.

Visitation will be held on Nov. 15 after 5 p.m. at Calvary Hill Church of God in Jemison.

Funeral services will be held on Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. from Calvary Hill Church of God with the Rev. Douglas Scott and the Rev. Willard Scott officiating.

Burial will follow in Pates Chapel Baptist Cemetery in Thorsby.
