The following is an activity report of the Maplesville Police Department from Aug. 8-Sept. 17:

Aug. 12
•Arrest for DUI after officer was given information that the driver could be drunk: Alabama Highway 22 and County Road 10

Aug. 13
•Gas drive-off: The Barking Frog (arrest)

Aug. 16
•Private property accident (one car backed into another, no injuries): Seales Grocery
•Domestic violence: 2600 block of Alabama Highway 139

Aug. 18
•Arrest for open container and violation of prohibition law: Seales Grocery
•Arrest for public intoxication (showed up to court drunk): Maplesville Court

Aug. 24
• 100 block Alabama Highway 139 b/m arrested for DUI.

Aug. 25
•A report was made for a person sitting on the victim’s front porch between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.: 100 block of Shady Side Dr.

Aug. 30
•After a night of playing dice, an argument ensued and a male was stabbed. Later that night the suspect was arrested by Maplesville Police and Clanton Police (injuries not life-threatening): Mobile St. Trailer Park

Sept. 3
•Possession of marijuana (found during a traffic stop): Maplesville Car Wash
•Fraudulent use of a credit card (arrest was made eight days later): Reed St.

Sept. 4
•Property damage (snow cone truck ran into the awning in front of the school): Maplesville School

Sept. 5
•An assault with a stick occurred, resulting in an arrest of the suspect and victim (victim had to be treated at the hospital in Prattville): 700 block of Alabama Highway 139
•Stolen motorcycle: Mitchell Hill
•Vehicle ran into the power box: Seales Grocery

Sept. 8
•After a traffic stop, an arrest was made for being in possession of a stolen Suburban from Louisiana.

Sept. 10
•Possession of drug paraphernalia: Maplesville School
•Natural death: 400 block of Alabama Highway 139
