Irene P. Wyatt, 86, of Thorsby, passed away on July 13 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Chilton County on Nov. 12, 1927, the daughter of the late Houston Pate and the late Bertha Chapman Pate.

She was a former sales clerk with the Central Alabama Cloth Barn.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessie Blair (John) of Thorsby; daughter, Faye Jones (Harold) of Jemison; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Wyatt; daughter, Linda Gail Lockhart; granddaughter, Andrea Leigh Blair; great-granddaughter, Haylee Brooke Burks; seven brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held July 16 from 6-8 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held July 17 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Boatwright and the Rev. John F. Blair officiating.

Burial will follow in the Midway Memorial Gardens in Jemison.
