Editor’s note: Below is a compilation of the statistics and achievements compiled by graduates of Chilton County area schools who now compete at the college level.

Baseball

Chance Calloway (Chilton County 2012) tallies nine appearances and six starts a pitcher for Lurleen B. Wallace Community College (17-14, 7-8 Alabama Community College Conference) to compile a 2-2 record, one complete game, 35.2 innings pitched, 24 strikeouts and a 2.52 ERA.

Alex Campbell (Jemison 2013) contributed one strikeout and allowed six earned runs in a 6 1/3-inning performance as the starting pitcher for Wallace Community College-Selma (12-21, 2-8 Alabama Community College Conference) in a 9-3 triumph at Chattahoochee Valley Community College (26-7, 8-2 Alabama Community College Conference) on March 22 in Phenix City.

For the season, the freshman has compiled nine appearances and six starts to total an 0-2 record, two complete games, 45.1 innings, 18 strikeouts and a 3.77 ERA.

He has also posted six RBI, two walks, one double and a .216 batting average.

Cameron Cummings (Chilton County 2013) scored two runs and tallied two walks for the University of South Alabama (13-13) in a 5-4 victory at home against Nicholls State University (15-14) on March 25 in Mobile.

For the season, the infielder totals 18 appearances and 12 starts to compile nine walks, five RBI, four runs scored, one stolen base and a .186 batting average.

Craig Headley (Chilton County 2013) batted 1-for-5 and added one walk for Jefferson Davis Community College (12-15, 8-8 Alabama Community College Conference) in a 12-11 triumph at Bishop State Community College (8-25, 3-13 Alabama Community College Conference) on March 27 in Mobile.

For the season, the catcher has compiled 14 walks, nine runs scored, nine RBI, three doubles, one stolen base and a .279 batting average.

Bo Hoffman (Thorsby 2013) compiles four appearances and two starts for Marion Military Institute (6-23-1, 1-9 Alabama Community College Conference) to contribute a 1-1 record, seven innings, three strikeouts and an 11.57 ERA.

Stephen Mims (Thorsby 2013) contributed a portion of the final inning as a pitcher for Wallace Community College-Selma against Chattahoochee Valley Community College.

For the season, the freshman totals three appearances and one start to contribute a 0-1 record, 7 1/3 innings pitched, three strikeouts and a 1.23 ERA.

Softball

Brianna Cleckler (Chilton County 2013) captured her 14th win and 12th complete game of the season en route to leading Southern Union State Community College (32-8) in a 10-2 victory at home against Alabama Southern Community College (11-23) on March 25 in Wadley.

For the season, the freshman totals 21 appearances and 18 starts and compiles a 14-3 record, 101 innings pitched, 69 strikeouts and a 1.94 ERA.

Tiffany Guin (Jemison 2012) collected her 12th win and fifth complete game for Central Alabama Community College (25-12) in an 8-7 triumph at home against Georgia Highlands College (16-21) on March 24 in Alexander City.

For the season, the sophomore has compiled 21 appearances and 12 starts to total a 12-5 record, two saves, 74.1 innings pitched, 42 strikeouts and a 4.43 ERA.

Shelby Lopez (Jemison 2012) batted 1-for-2 with one run scored and one walk for Central Alabama Community College (25-12) in an 8-7 triumph at home against Georgia Highlands College (16-21) on March 24 in Alexander City.

For the season, the infielder tallies 22 runs scored, 16 RBI, 16 walks, eight doubles, eight stolen bases, one triple, one home run and a .264 batting average.

Lauren Stewart (Chilton County 2012) collected one walk for Southern Union State Community College against Alabama Southern Community College.

For the season, the catcher tallies seven runs scored, seven RBI and a .349 batting average.

Women’s outdoor track and field

Lori Davis (Billingsley 2012) tallies a season best in the javelin of 116 feet, 4.75 inches for Alabama State University, which will resume competition at the University of Florida Relays from March 4-5 in Gainesville, Fla.
