Peggy Jean Turner, 78, of Thorsby, passed away March 27.

She was born on March 28, 1935, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late Osmond Price and the late Ellen Price.

She was a secretary.

Surviving are sons, Bobby Turner (Laura) of Jemison, Larry Turner of Wilsonville, Roger Turner (Nikki) of Jemison, James Turner (Alverna) of Thorsby; daughters, Tracy Cost (Larry) of Lawrenceville, Ga., Susan Turner of Clanton; sisters, Helen Edwards of Jemison, Christine Stephens of Winston Salem, N.C. and she was blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy G. Turner and daughter, Vicki Turner.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. March 29 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held March 30 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Reeser officiating.

Interment will follow in Thorsby Memory Gardens in Thorsby.
