Nancy Witter Sloan

Nancy Witter Sloan, 69, of Alabaster, passed away on Feb. 8 at her residence.

She was born in Pennsylvania on July 17, 1944, the daughter of Frank A. Witter and the late Bertha M. Householder Witter.

She worked with Sally Mae in loan servicing.

She is survived by her husband, John “Jack” W. Sloan of Alabaster; daughter, Susan L. Lank of Alabaster; daughter, Shelly Walsh of Alabaster; grandsons, Matt Dottl of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., J.D. Walsh of Alabaster, Bradley Benton of Andalusia and James Walsh of Alabaster; father, Frank A. Witter of Monroeville, Pa.; sister, Alyce Liber of Pittsburg, Pa.; brother, Melville F. Witter of Monroeville, Pa., and brother, James Witter of China.

The family will hold a memorial service on March 1 at the VFW Post in Panama City, Fla.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home of Clanton.
