Raymond Freeman Jr., 79, of Clanton, entered into rest on Oct. 25 at Brookwood Medical Center.

Funeral services were held Oct. 28 at 11 a.m. at Sandy Chapel Methodist Church with burial in adjoining cemetery.

Visitation was held Oct. 27 from 2-4 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel in Centreville.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Freeman of Clanton; son, Dennis Freeman (Teressia) of Centreville; daughters, Debora Freeman Lawrence (Mark) of Birmingham and Lucy Freeman Patrick of Cottondale (Tim); sister, Linda Freeman Stewart (J.W.) of Centreville; grandchildren, Jonathan, Joseph, Adam, Christopher, Timothy, Brenna and LuveyAnne.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Lawrence, Joseph Freeman, Adam Freeman, Christopher Lawrence, Timothy Patrick and Jarrod Cunningham.

Honorary pallbearers include doctors and nurses of Brookwood Medical Center, Bibb and Chilton County Gideons and Ryba and Bob Tyler.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Sandy Chapel Cemetery Fund at 799 County Road 479, Clanton, AL 35046.
