Wilbur Gene Gore, 54, of Verbena died Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at his residence.

He was born on Friday, Feb. 20, 1959, in Chilton County, son of the late Austin Gore and the late Bertie Cleckley Gore.

He was a rip saw operator for Georgia Pacific.

Surviving are wife, Donna Gore of Verbena; two sons, Bo Gore of Nashville, Tenn., Andy (Hannah) Gore of Clanton; three brothers, Keilan Gore and Butch Gore both of Verbena, Larry Gore of Thorsby; family pets, Bud and Trouble.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Bertie Gore; and sister, Janice Jones.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday, July 5, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Friday, July 5, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Mike Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
