We would like to take this time to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers for our church family.

Bro. Jeff Carroll’s text on Sunday came from John 4:16-26. His sermon was titled “True Worshipers.”

Are you a true worshiper of God? Do you know what it means to be a true worshiper of God? It seems that a lot of people are confused about their worship. A lot of people claiming to be children of God sit on a bench in a church somewhere, thinking that if they go to Sunday school and for preaching, they are worshiping God. God tells us in his word that we must worship in spirit and in truth: in spirit, by having the spirit of God in us, and in truth, by believing and proclaiming the true gospel of Christ. In other words, being in the right relationship with God, being born again, washed by the blood of Jesus and saved by his grace. If you do not know Jesus as your true Savior today, nothing else will matter on the Day of Judgment. Please do not delay; accept Jesus as your Savior today, for he is knocking at the door. Will you answer?

Bethsalem Baptist Church

On Sunday, Bro. Cleve welcomed everyone and gave ministry opportunities. The congregation sang many worshipful songs and read from Psalm 89. Special music was “God Says You’re Gonna Make It.”

The message, by Jeremy Jones, was from Ezekiel 47:1-6. Take the lead of faith; trust God.

In the evening message, Bro. Phill preached from Numbers 32:1-7, 16-18, with a sermon titled “The Promised Land, the Danger of Second Best.”

Wednesday service and family supper at 5:30 p.m. Prayer meeting for adults at 6 p.m., Team Kids for children and Student’s Outlet.
