Jeanette “Pretty” Dale Mims, 78, of Clanton passed away on April 1, 2013.

She was born on Saturday, April 14, 1934, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late James Samuel Dale and the late Lilly Mae Royal Dale.

She was a secretary.

Surviving are son, Michael Mims of Clanton; daughter-in-law, Brenda Mims of Clanton, Becky Mims of Clanton; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.B. Mims; son, Jimmy Donald Mims; daughter, Donna Jo Mims and granddaughter, Jennifer Wooten.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. on April 2 at Victory Chapel Church.

Services will be held April 3 at 2 p.m. at Victory Chapel Church with the Rev. Donnie Messer officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
