Samuel Cowel Coppage

Samuel Cowel Coppage, 80, of Clanton died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

He was born on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 1932, in Troy, son of the late Charles F. Coppage and the late Donie Brooks Coppage.

He was a painter.

Surviving are sister, Emogene Gorman of Troy; four nephews, William (Hermie) Coppage, Gerald (Alvis) Coppage, John Jr. Keene and Kenny Keene; niece, Alice Keene; and two great-nephews, Jerry Coppage and Danny Coppage.

Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, March 9 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, March 10 at 2 p.m. at Green Hills Cemetery in Troy.

Family requests no flowers; please make donations to your favorite military service organization.
