Our former pastor, Bro. Donald Vanderslice, was with us this Sunday. Bro. Don preached from Luke 21:5-15: If you don’t have things settled in your heart, God will not be able to use you. We need to settle in our hearts that we need the church and the church needs us. Where is your heart today?

The evening service began with Bro. Kenneth leading the church in the hymns “Glory to His Name,” “I’ve Got That Old Time Religion in my Heart,” and “I Never Shall Forget the Day.”

Bro. Ricky Bice gave a devotion from Titus 1, and did a wonderful job. Juliyanne Rutherford sang “Temporary Home,” and blessed the church with the wonderful singing talent with which God has blessed her.

Bro. Don preached from 1 Kings 17:1-15: God will keep his promises and make provisions. He will use us in order for us to help ourselves and to help others.

Don’t forget our services are Sundays at 9:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. Hope to see you there!
