Lennie Viola Wyatt, age 93 of Clanton, passed away on Jan. 27, 2013, at her residence.
She was born on July 9, 1919, in Atmore, to the late William and Laura Simmons.
She was a gardener and homemaker.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Donna (Leroy) Johnson, Sandra (Ricky) Hicks, Alan Roberts, Shane (Lisa) Varden, Cindy (Patrick) Crockett, Sherry (Jeno) Lee, Kevin (Larrissa) Cleckler, Amy (Davy) Hay, Melissa Cleckler, and the children of Olene Rhodes; stepdaughters, Martha (Jeff) Whitehead and Judy (Larry) Williamson; along with numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by husband, Obie Cleckler; husband, Johnny Wyatt; daughters, Peggy Roberts, Olene Rhodes and Lorene Hamilton; sons, Hollis Cleckler and Vastine Cleckler; granddaughter and her husband, Sheila (Charles) Johnson; and great-granddaughter, April Roberts.
Friends will be received from 5–8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Scott, the Rev. Robert Gibson and the Rev. Jerry Cleckler.
