Jean M. Gieseke Zintak

Jean M. Gieseke Zintak, age 82 of Montevallo, passed away on Dec. 24, 2012, at her residence.

She was born in Quakertown, Pa., on July 19, 1930, the daughter of the late Stanley High and the late Mildred Nehoda High.

She was a former sewing machine operator.

She is survived by: daughter, Jane (James) Wallace of Montevallo; daughter, Renee (Robert) Jones of Verbena; grandson, Mike (Carolyn) Brzezicki of Upper Black Eddy, Pa.; great-granddaughter, Brooke Brzezicki of Upper Black Eddy, Pa.; and sister, Patricia Boland of Holondale, Fla.

He is preceded in death by: husband, Wilbur “Buddy” Gieseke; and her second husband, Edward Zintak.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 29, at 10 a.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Boatwright officiating.

The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
