Dottie Marie Allred

Dottie Marie Allred, age 80 of Clanton, passed away on Dec. 8, 2012, at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.

She was born in Shelby County on Aug. 2, 1932, the daughter of the late Oneal Allred and the late Viola Howell Allred.

She was a cook.

She is survived by: son, Thomas (Teresa) Allred; daughter, Sandra (Roger) Moates; grandchildren: Crystal Allred, Neal Allred and Richard (Amanda) Moates, and great-grandchild, Kaden Allred, all of Clanton; and sister, Bonnie Shoemaker of Red Bluff, Calif.

Visitation was held on Monday, Dec. 10, from 6–8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Brooks officiating.

Burial will follow in the Clanton City Cemetery.
