Dorothy L. Thompson, 85, of Clanton died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at Prattville Baptist Hospital in Prattville.

She was born on Saturday, July 23, 1927, in Alabama, daughter of the late Theo Thompson and the late Willie Mae Milstead.

She was a bookkeeper.

Surviving are her cousin, Evelyn Leopard of Pinson; half-aunt, Joyce Edwards of Montgomery; half-uncles, Richard Donaldson and Robert Donaldson; friends, Aaron Brown and Sue Clark; friend, Ann Downing; friend, Jeanette Creel; and other relatives and friends.

Friends will be received from 1–2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 18, at Martin Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. at Martin Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Tony D. Smitherman officiating.
