Barbara Ann Easterling, age 68 of Gardendale, passed away on November 9, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Birmingham.

She was born in Hartford on Oct. 2, 1944, the daughter of T.K. Johnson and Myrl Brannon Johnson.

She worked in food services.

She is survived by: son, Ricky (Denise) Easterling of Panama City, Fla.; daughter, Pam (Chris) Blocker of Gardendale; grandchildren: April, Tyler, Brianna, Cassidy Dooley, and Aiden Blocker, all of Gardendale; parents, T.K. and Myrl Johnson of Panama City, Fla.; sister, Joyce (Rod) Rodriguez of Panama City Beach, Fla.; nephew, Bo (Shannon) Rodriguez of Panama City Beach, Fla.; and nephew, Shawn Rodriguez of Fairbanks, Alaska.

She is preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Easterling.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Nov. 11, at 2:30 p.m. from Providence Baptist Church No. 2 with the Rev. Harland Harris officiating.

Visitation was held one hour prior to the services at the church.

Burial followed in Providence Baptist Church No. 2 Cemetery in Clanton.

Final care and arrangements entrusted to the Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home of Clanton.
