Mountain Springs Church

Sunday’s service started with Bro. Kenneth Moates leading the church in the following hymns: “Jesus Is Coming Soon,” “This World Is Not My Home,” “Living By Faith” and “Anywhere Is Home.” After these songs, the youth sang “Oh, How I Love Jesus,” and our church was blessed.

Bro. Roger Cleckler gave the devotion from Titus 3:1. God has given us a talent to do good for him.

After Sunday School, Bro. Kenneth led the church in the hymn “That Glad Reunion Day” and Kellie Bice sang “Because He Lives.”

We hosted Carter Grant Smitherman’s baby shower this Sunday. We are so happy for Craig and Valerie, and for the wonderful blessing God has placed in their lives. We wish them happiness as they raise Carter.

Our former pastor, Bro. Don Vanderslice, and his wife, Mrs. Florence Vanderslice, were with us this Sunday. Bro. Don preached from Genesis 28:10-22. God puts stones in our lives in order for us to remember all that he has done for us.

Sunday night’s service began with Bro. Kenneth leading the church in the hymns “The Soul Never Dies,” “Just A Little Talk With Jesus” and “When the Roll is Called Up Yonder.”

Ashley Bice gave a devotion from Mark 1:35. We need to take time out of our lives to pray to God.

Sam Ross sang “Your Cries Have Awoken the Master.” He did a wonderful job. Bro. Don preached from John 21:1-6. God is on our side and he will always be there for us.

Bethsalem Church

Bro. Cleve Mallory opened our day of worship with ministry opportunities and welcoming. Special music was provided by Roy Martin and Cleve Mallory. They sang “Your Grace Still Amazes Me.” The Celebration Choir sang “Jesus Built This Church on Love.”

Bro. Mark DeVine’s message was taken from Ephesians 1:1-12.

On Sunday evening, Bro. Mark preached from Ephesians 1-3 about what God has designed for those who believe in him.

Wednesday service at 6:30 p.m., prayer meeting for adults, Team Kids for children and Student’s Outlet.
