John Claude Mims

John Claude Mims, age 67 of Clanton, passed away on Oct. 14, 2012, at the Bibb County Nursing Home in Centreville.

He was born on March 15, 1945, the son of the late Ralph Mims and the late Eunice Ballard Mims.

He was a real estate appraiser.

He is survived by: daughter, Catherine M. Bender of Mobile; son, John Mims of Mobile; three grandchildren; and sister, Sandra (Gordon) Swenson of Clanton.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18, at noon from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Matt DeBord officiating.
