Billingsley falls behind early at Prattville Christian, can’t catch up

Billingsley fell at Prattville Christian on Friday, 42-14.

The Bears were never in the game, trailing 28-0 at halftime and 35-6 after three quarters of play.

The loss came despite quarterback Thomas Nichols’ performance. He completed six passes in 17 attempts for 207 yards and a touchdown.

Trey Tyus hauled in two of those passes for 102 yards and a score.

Terrance Nolen and Tommy Williams each had 30 yards rushing. Williams reached the mark in three carries, while Nolen had nine carries.

Nolen scored Billingsley’s other touchdown.

Torrey Green, Nolen and Matt Prebula each had eight tackles to pace the BHS defense.
