Higgins-Walker engagement

Pamela Higgins and Charles Walker are pleased to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Odell Higgins Jr. and Frances Higgins of Thorsby. She is a 1979 graduate of Isabella High School and a 1988 graduate of Auburn University, where she earned a degree in accounting.

She is currently employed with the State of Alabama in Hoover.

The prospective groom is the son of Travis and Mary Walker of Carrollton. He is a 1976 graduate of Carrollton High School in Carrollton. He is currently employed with Bond Industries in Birmingham.

The wedding will be held June 2, 2012, at 4 p.m. at Mt. Carmel No. 1 Baptist Church in Thorsby. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
