Sarah Gothard and John Robinson are happy to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of David and Jody Gothard of Montevallo, and the granddaughter of Lindy Gothard and the late Odett Gothard of Jemison.

She is a 2006 graduate of Montevallo High School and earned a degree in elementary education at Troy University.

The prospective groom is the son of Johnny and Laurie Robinson of Jemison, and the grandson of the late Lincoln Robinson and the late Doris Robinson of Jemison. He is a 2003 graduate of Jemison

High School and earned a degree in forestry at Auburn University.

The wedding will be April 14, 2012. Invitations will be sent.
