Steve and Terri Howard are happy to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley Augusta Howard, to Eric Wesley Mims, the son of Becky Mims and the late Matt Mims of Jemison.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of James and Anne Howard of Jemison, Faye Franklin and the late Curtis Franklin of Jemison and Helen Howard of Augusta, Ga.  She is a 2006 graduate of Jemison High School and 2010 graduate of the University of Montevallo with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She is currently employed by State Farm in Calera.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Juanita Varden and the late Russell Varden of Jemison, Darlene Blackmon and the late Leroy Blackmon of Thorsby and the late Edward Mims of Clanton.  He is a 2004 graduate of Jemison High School. He is currently employed by Ebox, Inc. in Alabaster.

The wedding will take place at 6:30 p.m. on July 30 at the home of Frankie Majors at 55 County Road 68, Clanton, AL 35046 with a reception to follow. All family and friends are invited.

Invitations have been sent out.
