Stanley and Tammy Smith are happy to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Carrie Elizabeth Smith, to Christopher Bradley Lucas, the son of Chris and Kathy Lucas of Jemison.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of Ralph and Bernice Ross of Jemison and Betty R. Smith and the late Willie Smith of Clanton.  She is a 2006 graduate of Jemison High School and 2009 graduate of George C. Wallace Community College.  She is employed as a registered nurse at Chilton Medical Center in Clanton.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Elton and Sarah Wilson of Jemison and Woodford and Geraldine Lucas of Jemison.  He is a 2006 graduate of Jemison High School.  He is currently employed by Alabama Power Company.

The wedding is May 7, 2011.  Invitations have been sent out.
