Mr. Paul Litten and Mrs. Donald Eddy of Birmingham are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Elizabeth Litten, to Gary Matthew Hubbard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Hubbard of Clanton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Marshall Reid Rodgers and the late Mrs. Rodgers of Vestavia Hills, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Milton Litten of Grand Blanc, Mich. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in early childhood development and is employed in Tuscaloosa as a teacher with Northwood Hills Baptist Church.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Lois Cleckler and the late Mr. Vernon Cleckler of Clanton, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Hubbard of Clanton. He is currently employed with Prestige Trim, Inc. in Clanton.

The wedding is planned for June 11 at 6 p.m. at Bluff Park United Methodist Church in Hoover.
