Anna Calhoun was crowned Junior Miss Peach on Tuesday, adding another title to a career that already includes a Young Miss Peach Crown.

Judges selected Calhoun from 16 contestants in the category.

“I’m still on Cloud 9,” she said Wednesday. “I couldn’t even believe that they called my name out last night. It’s unreal.”

Calhoun was Young Miss Peach in 2009.

“Being older, you kind of know what you’re going into and you can expect what it’s going to be like,” she said and mentioned one of her favorite memories from her previous reign. “I would love to go back to Dothan for the Peanut Festival. That was so much fun.”

Zoey Collum was named first alternate and casual wear winner on Tuesday.

Emilee Smith was second alternate, Celeste Montgomery was third alternate, Whitley Smith was fourth alternate and Emily Parrish was named Miss Congeniality.

Previously, Emma Owens was crowned Little Miss Peach, and Mattie Woodall was crowned Young Miss Peach.

The Miss Peach Pageant is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chilton County High School auditorium.

“I’m so excited to be spending the year with my little sisters Emma and Mattie, and I can’t wait to see who is going to be crowned Miss Peach,” Calhoun said.
