First haircut yields big results for good cause

Gracie Littleton, 6, of Clanton, had never had a haircut before Saturday. For the last three years she had been growing her hair out with the intention to donate it to Locks of Love, a program that provides hairpieces to children who suffer from long-term medical hair loss.
“We had talked about it,” said April Littleton, her mother. “We looked up the website and she decided she wanted to do it. She wanted to help.”
