Dear Editor,

The family of James C. Johnson wish to thank all our friends, family and neighbors, as well as the Rev. Harlen Harris, Martin Funeral Home, Chilton Memorial Gardens and Glad Tidings Church of God for the love and support received during our time of grief.

We would like to give special recognition to Sheriff Kevin Davis, Sgt. Darrell Bone, Inv. Eric Price, Dispatcher Mildred Johnson, the U.S. Marine Corps and all officers with the Chilton County Sheriff’s Department for going above and beyond their call of duty. Also, thank you for those who have made donations to Children’s Hospital in honor of James.
