The Apollo B.O.W. Foundation awarded two scholarships to graduating seniors at Maplesville High School on May 16 at the school’s Honors Day. Seniors Dee Elliott and Bradley “Lucky” Brown were the recipients of the scholarships.
Elliott signed a scholarship to play college football at Huntingdon College and plans to major in biochemistry. Brown plans to jump into the workforce after graduation and start a career in trades, specializing in trucking and logistics.
Apollos Abercrombie, a business development representative at MDVIP, started the foundation to give resources and scholarships to graduates going to college or into the world of trades to invest in others and say thank you to all of the people that invested in him.
