Great Clips is opening its first location in Chilton County to give residents another option to get a haircut just in time for the summer months. The new salon at 1308 Woodfin Lane, Clanton will be opening on May 31.

Hunter and Mary Hughes are opening the salon and have started a $2.99 haircut initiative for a limited time to welcome the opening of the new salon. The Clanton location will join a network of over 4,400 Great Clips salons already in the United States and Canada. The salon will operate daily with experienced stylists ready to cut residents with no appointments needed.

The Hughes are veterans in the salon world owning and operating 29 salons across four states. In doing so, they have helped provide employment and growth opportunities to over 200 stylists and barbers.
