The 2025 National Football League (NFL) preseason is a little over two months away, meaning Alabama football fans do not have much longer to wait to see if the seven former Crimson Tide stars selected during the 2025 NFL Draft will immediately feature for their respective teams.

Alabama has produced 140 draft picks since 2009, the most by any college during that period. For 14 consecutive years, at least seven Crimson Tide alumni have navigated to the NFL, proving that the University of Alabama has one of the best college football programs in the country

Tyler Booker – Dallas Cowboys (12th overall pick)

Tyler Booker became the sixth first-rounder along the offensive line in the last seven years when the Dallas Cowboys selected him 12th overall. Although the best Alabama sports betting apps do not fancy the Cowboys’ chances of Super Bowl glory this season, Booker will likely be thrown into the deep end and become an immediate starter for the Dallas outfit.

Nine-time Pro Bowler Zack Martin retired during the offseason, and Booker is a readymade replacement. The Cowboys have a long history of finding top-tier offensive linemen in the draft, having selected the likes of Tyron Smith (2011), the aforementioned Martin (2014), and Tyler Smith (2022) during the past decade. The fact that the Cowboys gave Booker a four-year, $22,553,718 rookie contract shows how highly they rate him.

Booker is pro-ready and should be part of the Cowboys’ starting lineup this season and for years to come.

Jihaad Campbell – Philadelphia Eagles (31st)

Jihaad Campbell was the second Crimson Tide player selected in the 2025 NFL Draft’s first round, with the Philadelphia Eagles selecting the versatile linebacker at 31. The Eagles were so keen to get their hands on Campbell that they traded up with the Kansas City Chiefs and gave up their fifth-round pick.

Campbell is among the 2025 NFL Draft’s most versatile defensive players. He played 35 games for the Crimson Tide, recorded 184 tackles, 5.5 sacks, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles. Campbell signed a four-year, fully guaranteed $14,903,566 rookie contract with the Eagles; fans will probably see this former Crimson Tide star in action during the upcoming season.

Jalen Milroe – Seattle Seahawks (92nd)

After the excitement of seeing two players selected during the draft’s first round, Crimson Tide fans had to wait until the third round to see another of their former students find an NFL home. The Seattle Seahawks used their 92nd pick to take quarterback Jalen Milroe to the Lumen Field Stadium. Although Milroe was the fourth quarterback selected in 2025, his draft position doesn’t tell the whole story.

Milroe signed a four-year, $6,264,086 rookie contract with the Seahawks and will likely compete for the QB2 slot on the team’s roster.

Malachi Moore – New York Jets (130th)

Malachi Moore may have been the 10th and final safety selected this year, but the New York Jets have a potential bargain on their hands. Moore spent five seasons with the Crimson Tide, racking up 64 appearances, 214 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and seven interceptions.

The two-year Crimson Tide captain has what it takes to force his way into the Jets’ starting lineup, although some pundits predict the Jets may deploy him on special teams while he finds his feet in the professional games.

Que Robinson – Denver Broncos (134th)

Quandarrius “Que” Robinson only became a regular starter for the Crimson Tide during his senior season, but an elbow injury ended his 2024 campaign after only nine games. Despite spending most of his college days as a backup and on special teams, the Denver Broncos used their 134th pick to bring Robinson to the NFL.

In 43 Crimson Tide appearances, Robinson made 54 tackles (including 10 for loss) and six sacks. In a recent interview, Broncos general manager George Paton hinted that Robinson will become part of the Broncos’ special teams, mainly because the team has Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper as its starting linebackers.

Robinson’s Broncos contract runs for four years, and the Alabama native receives up to $5,054,256.

Robbie Ouzts – Seattle Seahawks (175th)

The Seattle Seahawks selected Robbie Ouzts as the 175th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, making him the second Crimson Tide player to join the team this year.

Ouzts has the size, stature, power, and a safe pair of hands, making him perfect for the fullback position. Undoubtedly, Crimson Tide fans will get to see one of their own, and a famous moustache, in action in Ouzts.

Tim Smith – Indianapolis Colts (190th)

Sixth-round picks rarely garner much attention, but that could be different in Tim Smith‘s case. Although his statistics do not jump off the page,

After the Indianapolis Colts released Raekwon Davis during the offseason, Smith, the 190th pick, has every chance of making the backup run defender position his own in 2025. From there, anything is possible.
