MONTGOMERY POST — A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 11:35 a.m. Friday, April 11, has claimed the life of a Verbena man. David E. Little, 82, was critically injured when the 2000 Honda CR-V he was driving was struck by the 2018 Mack Truck driven by Andre L. Williams, 56, of Prattville. Little was transported to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for treatment. On Monday, April 14, Little succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The crash occurred at the intersection of Chilton County 97 and U.S. 31, approximately one mile east of Clanton, in Chilton County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
