Bland, Longcrier punch tickets to state FFA finals in speaking disciplines

Billingsley High School’s FFA program will have two of its students, Kayden Bland and Abigail Longcrier, representing the chapter at the Alabama State FFA Convention in June after the pair earned their spot at the FFA Central District Eliminations in Wadley on April 11.
Billingsley’s FFA program fielded two teams — a horse evaluation and veterinary science team, and also the single speakers in Bland and Longcrier. Longcrier took the top spot in Creed Speaking while Bland finished runner-up in the Prepared Public Speaking.
